To say I was obsessed with Emily and Eric’s wedding day is an understatement! Romantic, intimate, and full of heart, they planned a celebration surrounded by just 30 of their closest loved ones. There was beauty in every thoughtful detail. I incorporated a few filmy edits into this wedding gallery – a nod to that nostalgic, vintage look. I’m always happy to include this editing style for couples who love the charm of film-inspired imagery.
The wedding day began in Tiburon, where everyone got ready at a waterfront hotel overlooking the Bay. There was joy in the air – laughter, sweet letters passed around, and details coming together. I fell in love with the bright color palette of the bridesmaid dresses and the stunning bouquets that the girls carried throughout the day.
After taking bridal portraits on the waterfront, we made our way to San Francisco City Hall for the ceremony. With its grand architecture and timeless beauty, City Hall was the perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony. Emily and Eric exchanged heartfelt vows on the balcony – a quiet, powerful moment that had many guests in tears. I could see their guests taking in every moment with them. Emily and Eric walked hand in hand out of City Hall, as all of their loved ones cheered them on as newlyweds!
After the ceremony, we boarded the ferry back to Tiburon, which was such a fun and unique way to travel between locations. We got lucky with beautiful weather and epic views of the Bay, plus the ferry gave everyone a chance to exhale, sip champagne, and just enjoy being together. One of my favorite moments was capturing Emily and Eric standing at the back of the ferry with a “Just Married” sign fluttering in the breeze.
The reception was held at The Bungalow Kitchen in Tiburon – a charming, cozy space filled with warm light. Long tables were set for dinner, guests mingled over cocktails, and laughter echoed through the room. There was a relaxed energy in the room, the kind that comes when you know you’re surrounded by your people.
Emily and Eric’s day was a reminder that small weddings can be incredibly meaningful and joyful. I feel so lucky to have documented this beautiful day in the Bay.
