There’s something magical about love stories set in the redwoods. When Tara and Derrick reached out about their engagement session, they knew they wanted a location that felt intimate and full of natural beauty. I found the perfect trail in Joaquin Miller Park, where the light filtered through the redwoods in such a beautiful way, creating a lovely setting for my couple’s photoshoot.
From the moment we arrived at the redwoods, I could tell that Tara and Derrick were completely in their element. Their love for each other was effortless, shining through in every glance and laugh they shared.
