Autumn Vineyard Wedding at McConnell Estates

Haleigh and Zach’s wedding day at McConnell Estates Winery in Elk Grove was a dreamy autumnal celebration of love. The wedding day was full of golden vineyard light, rich fall tones, and a couple whose love felt effortless. Fall weddings have a warmth that feels both cozy and romantic, and this wedding leaned into that energy. McConnell Estates provided the perfect backdrop for Haleigh and Zach’s wedding day. Earthy tones, seasonal florals, and the natural beauty of the estate created an inviting atmosphere for all the wedding guests.

The wedding day was filled with heartfelt moments from start to finish. Quiet, emotional exchanges while getting ready set the tone, and those emotions deepened as the day unfolded. Watching Zach’s reaction as he saw Haleigh for the first and the subtle glances they shared throughout the day spoke volumes about their connection. These are the moments I’m always watching for, the in-between moments that are often the most meaningful.

Their ceremony in the vineyard was intimate and emotional, surrounded by the people who know and love them best. Laughter and happy tears flowed freely throughout the ceremony. As the sun dipped lower, we snuck away into the vineyards for golden-hour portraits. The soft autumn glow paired with the vineyard setting created some of my favorite photos from the day. My approach is always about creating space for couples to feel comfortable and present during portraits, which allows the images to feel natural and true to who they are.

Haleigh was an absolutely stunning bride, and I was obsessed with her lace veil. Delicate, timeless, and full of texture, it framed her perfectly and moved beautifully in the vineyard breeze. Every time it caught the light, it added an extra layer of romance to her portraits.

The reception space in the barn created a cozy atmosphere that invited everyone to slow down, connect, and truly enjoy the night. As evening fell, the celebration continued with heartfelt toasts, joyful laughter, and a dance floor full of energy. Haleigh and Zach chose to do one last private dance in the barn before the night ended, and then opted for a bubble send off – such a fun touch!

Every part of Haleigh and Zach’s wedding felt genuine and deeply personal. Photographing their day at McConnell Estates Winery was an honor, and I’m grateful to work with such sweet clients.
